Connect begins with matrix.org as the default homeserver and allows another compatible secure Matrix homeserver before sign-in. Use valid account details for the server you select.

Sign-in and homeserver issues
If credentials are rejected, registration is unavailable, or the service is unreachable, confirm the homeserver address and check with its operator. Connect does not control every independent Matrix server.
Messages, media, and calls
Send messages, share media, record voice notes, and make calls from Connect. If something is not working, check your network and allow microphone, camera, photo, or notification access when Connect asks for it.
Notifications
Make sure notifications are allowed for Connect, then review previews, battery restrictions, network access, and your notification preferences.
Account deletion
Open Connect settings to request account deactivation and data deletion. Follow any identity checks shown by your homeserver, and read the retention and deletion section for more details.
Privacy requests
